Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
Why didn't you go to a 4 year college? Why banking, and what's taking you so long to graduate with a bachelor's degree?
How I responded:
My husband pushes me to be a better person everyday. My boss inspires me to do better.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I went to school first to get my degree but had financial obligations and family pressures to get married at a young age. Then I was diagnosed with illnesses that prevented me from finishing school. I am motivated by my husband to do better.
