Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

I went to college for fashion design. I then worked in the garment center for 10 years in NYC.

  • 2.

After I had my children I did not want to commute to NYC for work in the garment industry.

  • 3.

My husband had his own business which was selling bakery products. I worked for him.

  • 4.

I worked in sales and in the office. When going to the bank each week, the manager offered me a job.

  • 5.

So I worked part time for husband & the bank as a teller. I did that for 9 years.

  • 6.

I've now taken a new position as a Universal Branch Associate working full time at the bank.

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Myself:

The discouragement I had was that my parents could not afford to pay for my college. I took out student loans and recieved my college degree. I paid back the loans and I feel good that I did it myself.

  • How I responded:

I took out student loans to get my degree, you can do what you set your mind on.
