Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

Had interest in the stock market, but loved sports and wanted to pursue that.

  • 2.

Decided I wanted to try and be a doctor, but still enjoyed finance, so did Finance & Pre-Med.

  • 3.

Took my first chemistry class and hated it, so switched to Finance and Sports Management.

  • 4.

Sports Management was not engaging enough, so stuck with Finance, but found a double major.

  • 5.

Decided to pick up Economics and loved it. It tied so well with Finance, and knew it was right.

  • 6.

Got a job in Finance out of school, and has been exactly what I wanted.

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Myself:

You should stay home and help with my Dad's business.

  • How I responded:

While you need to recognize your parents' requests, you should also feel the need to pursue your own path if you want, and you'd be surprised in how much support you get to do that, as long as you do it with all your effort.
