I've taken a lot of twists and turns
1.
My passion for music.
2.
Then my deep appreciation for capturing life as it happens.
3.
From there, I found people to be so fascinating. I wanted to hear their stories.
4.
So, I picked up a camera and started talking to musicians.
5.
Both the ability to tell a story with a camera and to listen to others tell their story has led me...
6.
...To where I am today.
Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Family:
There's no money in it. How will you pay your bills? And at other times the noise was silence and it still is today many times. I will tell a family member about a client I just got or how I am being sent to cover something and they will say nothing.
How I responded:
Faith. Honestly. My faith and stubborn independence that life is meant to be lived. I look at life this way, it is a Willie Wonka Candy Store! So many flavours to try and why not? Life is sweet and I deserve to experience what I have been given so richly.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Still working on this one. I sold almost everything we had off. Quit my 6-8 at night office job when I decided life was too short and went back into this business I love- photography and journalism in the music industry.
