Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Peers:
Something like, you are spending too much money on studies. You need to be creative and focus on the business more time.
How I responded:
I said, all my studies allowed me to reach until this point. To go further, I need to learn new techniques and tools, and also update my knowledges. Information is too fast nowadays, same as innovation. The ones who stuck on what have learned 10 years ago, certainly will be overcome for the next generation.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I´m from Brazil and moved-in 3 years ago to LA. I never faced problems with prejudice, but considerable ones with culture clashes and different business scenario. It takes time (1-2 year) to adjust yourself and change your mindset for succeeding.
