Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

Struggling in my own life with therapy services and feeling like no one understood what I went through, I didn't want anyone to feel the way I did.

  • 2.

Failing in my first career choice and coming back to a clean slate to try something new.

  • 3.

Volunteering at a juvenile hall allowed me to see what kind of population I wanted to work with and what I didn't want to work with.

  • 4.

Taking risks and trusting your supervisor and or mentor that they have the best intentions and won't hold you back, even if that means losing you for what you feel called to do.

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Parents:

You are not going to need college because we are just blue-collar workers.

  • How I responded:

I dealt with this by pursuing an education and a career.
