    Depression is not a joke. It is serious and can be extremely damaging. To overcome this, I had to get used to the idea of expressing my emotions and being comfortable with it.

    One of the hardest parts of life that nobody talks about is building an internal confidence that balances humility—or the desire to always understand and learn—with translating and applying analogous experiences to new unknowns.

  • How I responded:

    In your hardest moments, self doubt may arise and comments like “I can’t” or “It will never happen” either are thought or are verbalized. If we allow ourselves to believe it then our next actions and choice become limited. Take a moment to look at where you came from, what you had to believe in yourself to get to where you are today at this moment. I bet it was challenging yet you overcame. Believing in yourself cause others to believe in you and your journey. Say “I can” and watch yourself grow
